TTG Artist Spotlight: Midgerock Studios
We feature another designer; Midgerock Studios who has submitted his great work, sold via Redbubble. Where would we all be in the t-shirt world with our the great artists and designers who produce such brilliant designs on sites such as Redbubble, woot, teefury and more. We featured Midgerock Studios previously with his Shatner t-shirt recently printed on Nowhere Bad.
Midgerock studios aka John Midgley tells us more about himself;
“I have been designing tees for the last year. I started subbing at woot and have been regularly every week with a few weeks exceptions. I have slowly but sure garnered a fan base who weekly support my designs, having a number of them ”fog” reaching the top nine of designs subbed and voted on.”
“Recently I placed third with a Panda Noir design currently for sale in their “reckoning” which on its first day sale sold combined what the first and second placed sold. Many of those designs I have subbed @woot have gone on to print @teefury and ript. My Albert Funkenstein design has been the most successful to date which was followed up by my Milton Maze/Office Space inspired design. At Ript they have printed a Army of Darknes, Harry Potter Skull, Glee, Neverending Story/Dirty Harry and recently my Office vs Office designs. Ript was the first give me a chance and have major love for them giving me the chance where others hadn’t. I have three designs opted to print @nowherebad with the first sold last week.”
“When it comes to designing I am inspired by what I love: comics, movies and tv. I study art in college but never got a career in it. I spend my day in office call center and draw in between calls. and when I get home work on a computer refining the designs.
I have a fan page on facebook where people can follow my work anf support my designs and a rebubble store for people to purchase past designs.” – Midgerock Studios
Crisis of Infinite Offices
Inspired by the debate among fans of the office of which version is better: UK or American. Then added into the realm of DC Crisis on Infinite Earths. Did you know there are other versions through out the world of The Office besides the UK and American versions? I wonder if they have the same debate as well?

The Order of the Hand
I’m a big fan of Bruce Campbell and love the Evil Dead Trilogy! Ash is the man! This is a design for the masonic like group which has dedicated itself to the teaching and adventures of Ash. To become a member you must lop off the hand which has “gone bad”. After that you get a free t-shirt and a chainsaw and shotgun! woo-hoo!

Feelin Lucky Punk
When growing up, one of my favorite films was The Neverending Story. Falkor was a luck dragon from the film and I always wished I could have one of my own to fly through the air and fight bullies with. When I got older and was able to watch more mature films Dirty Harry pretty much much wiped the floor with Falkor but the love from old Falky never died hence this mash up of the two!
