12 Days of Xmas Interview: Qwertee
As our bonus prize for day two its such a pleasure to be able to share with you a fifth and final installment for todays interview series with Qwertee. Its was a pleasure to discuss how Qwertee began, how their community is special & future site improvements.

How did Qwertee begin?
As with all our best ideas Qwertee was not an original one. We saw there were lots of tee-a-day sites in the US but few in Europe. We also thought we could offer something a bit different in building a really friendly online community, which is something Qwertee prides itself on.
What keeps you motivated to keep the site as fresh and exciting as it is today?
Reaching our goal of total and utter world domination! That and it’s quite a fun thing to do every day.
Without such a vibrant and interactive community Qwertee would be lost right?
Absolutely, our community members are what make Qwertee special.
How big of a role does all the artists who partake, have on your success?
They are somewhat essential. I suspect there is not that large a market for blank tee-a-day shirt buying sites.
We’ve been really lucky to work with some seriously talented artists in our first year and hope to work with many more next year.
What have been the highlighting moments since you began with the site?
Being featured on TeeGazette of course:)
What does the remainder of December have in store for Qwertee? Does Xmas and New Year have an particular highlights?
Lots more popular designs, as voted for by the Qwertee Community. Big improvements that are quite secret at the moment, stay tuned to our newsletter for more!
Can you tell us more about the t-shirt for today?
It’s called “Sherlock’s Home” and it’s both our most voted for design and a Qwertee début for a new designer (SophieDoodle), our favourite combination.
It’s inspired by the “Sherlock” TV series that seems to be incredibly popular with many Qwertee community members. We originally thought we just had a large door knocker fanbase…
If Qwertee towers was to be visited by santa what would you want him to bring?
Peace on earth, an end to world hunger and perhaps a team of non unionised elves:)
We must thank Qwertee not only for being our surprise guest for day two, but also for their time in this interview. Follow @Qwertee_com and on Facebook.
