12 Days Xmas Interview: Slice of Life Tees
It’s interview number two here on day eleven, and we show you what Slice of Life Tees are all about. Here we got to discuss; peace and ice cream, rewards of your own t-shirt brand, twitter recommendations and more!

Give us a slice of what your brand is about and how you fit into the big wide world of t-shirts?
Simply put, Slice of Life Tees make t-shirts for foodies. We’re food lovers ourselves, and we realized that it was a niche that we hadn’t really seen t-shirt companies focus on.
What have been your most memorable or proudest moments since launching the brand?
We still remember our first sale – at a garlic festival last fall. Our proudest moment? Having the courage to actually try to break into a really, really tough field. But it’s really rewarding when people look at your shirts & smile, or say “I NEED this shirt!”
Do you have a favourite design you have created?
All of our designs are like our kids, but we have a soft spot for “Carnivorous and Proud” It’s a cool look with a great pop of color.

What does the future of the brand have in store? Any sneak peaks we can share?
We have a long list of shirt ideas we want to get printed – there are 3 that are in the pipeline right now, all of which are completely politically correct in one way or another. Here’s a peek at one: “Stars & Bacon Strips” – we’ve got a lot of work to do on it still, but we like where it’s headed.

If you could win a t-shirt from a fellow brand in this giveaway who would it be?
There’s a lot of great shirts to choose from, but we’d have to go with something from Peace & Ice Cream. Hey, we’re foodies, and the ice cream character is just too cool to pass up.
What would be your recommendations for people to follow on twitter?
I’ll give one from each aspect of our life: or the food lovers, @feistyfood, for the t-shirt biz, @hideyourarms (and of course @teegazette), for insane humor, @thebloggess, and a good friend, @_thp
If santa was to come this year and bring you anything you wanted, what would it be?
2 things: Our own DTG Printer, & the mailing addresses of every clothing stylist who dresses celebrity chefs! Anyone want to play santa for us?
