What is Evol Gnus™ Clothing?
“Thinking is the hardest work there is, that is the most probable reason why so few engage in it.”
– Henry Ford
Started as a single design concept, Evol Gnus™ Clothing took on a life of it’s own when it was adopted by the skateboard community of Zanesville, OH. Over the last year, it has become clear that Evol Gnus™ Clothing has come to represent a small, but resourceful community with its own unique personality and attitude. Over the last year, Evol Gnus™ Clothing has worked with the local youth to develop a lifestyle and apparel brand rooted in this historic quote from industrial revolution innovator, pioneer and entrepreneur Henry Ford.
Evol Gnus™ Clothing represents the people who do the thinking. Those who devote their time to the most important task of them all: thinking. This thinking involves how to take the next big step, rather than getting caught up in the day-to-day chores of living an “average” life. Within each of us, lives a diabolical mastermind whose hunger can only be satiated by the passion and drive behind life’s most rewarding pursuits; constantly pushing us to achieve our dreams and realize our ambitions against all odds.
Influenced by: street, hip hop, pop cultures; Evol Gnus™ Clothing focuses on illustrative and graphic designs inspired by both otaku and pop cultures with an emphasis on street knowledge.
Evol Gnus™ Clothing is for the creators, not the imitators; the originators, not the perpetrators; the cerebral kin, who get it in; the THINKERS WHO DO because it NEEDS TO BE DONE!
