TTG Brand/Design Studio Spotlight: Alphabet Arm Design
Alphabet Arm Design recently contacted us after our review of Invisible Sun’s design “Night Surfing,” and we wanted to get the word out on this design company that also moonlights as an indie brand! Based in Boston, Alphabet Arm Design has designed t-shirts for small and large clients alike, as you’ll soon see.
Alphabet Arm Design is an award-winning, full service design studio specializing in bold, creative and distinctive design solutions. Services include: Logo Design & Branding, Collateral Design, CD Art Direction, Merchandise Design and Web Design. One of our primary goals is to make the design process itself enjoyable for our clients.
Here are a couple additional things you might find useful to know about the studio: humor is our weapon of choice, we find inspiration everywhere, we answer the phone with a smile (you’ll have to trust us on this one), we constantly challenge one another to be the best designers we can be, music is always playing, we take our craft very seriously but collectively feel work should be fun, we consider coffee a food group, customer service is paramount, and although we can dress fancy when we need to, we prefer the standard t-shirts & jeans.
As you can see, they do it all. Not only is this a one stop shop for brands looking for some new designs, but they’re also a one stop shop for bands looking to create their look, online AND offline.
I want to showcase some of their work, from logo work all the way to their own t-shirts that they sell as a brand. Enjoy the visual stroll through the Alphabet Arm Design Studio:
Here’s a logo that they did for Kay Hanley, who I must say that I’m a big fan of. Not familiar with her, she’s a local Bostonian that used to front the band Letters To Cleo:
The CD art that they designed for Big Head Todd & The Monsters:
New England’s own Redhook Brewery needed a brochure… where did they turn to? Alphabet Arm Design Studio, of course!
Now, here are a few t-shirts that they’ve done for other folks:
Now…. let’s take a peek at some of their OWN designs that they have for sale via their official shop:
So, there we have it…. we’ve pretty much run through all that Alphabet Arm Design has to offer, and I think it’s safe to say that anyone who’s looking to get some designs created can certainly add these guys to the short list of companies to contact!
I truly hope that we see Alphabet Arm jump on board for the Boston Tee Party, I think they’d be a great addition to the event!
