Here we showcase and feature the works and designs of RedDesilets, whos work i found on Redbubble. Having only expanded into the online t-shirt world in recent months she is starting to pick up a head of stream in selling her designs and becoming more involved in the online community.

I’m a novice w/computer graphics but have dabbled in art my entire life with my dad (a local artist and photographer) teaching me about sketching and watercolors at an early age.  I’ve learned a lot in the past few months since venturing in t-shirt graphic design and hope to keep growing in skill… Obviously, I’m a Browncoat and a Chuckster but have other ideas I need to get out on paper – er- Photoshop. I use Adobe Photoshop and Corel Paintshop and draw with a mouse as well as using a Waccom Intuos tablet. There is DEFINITELY a learning curve on learning to draw on a tablet when I’ve spent my whole life drawing on paper.

Blue Sun Better in Red and Cuddly Jayne were my first two designs. Though I must admit today’s Thrillin’ Heroics Mule Riders Club logo is my favorite so far. I’ve begun collecting tees from other artists and am finding myself becoming addicted to graphic tees!

“Be Jayne without the pain and bloody mess of being slashed with a butcher knife by a psychotic River! This is inspired by the scene in Ariel (of tv show Firefly) where River attacks Jayne with one cut of a knife for no apparent reason other than, “He looks better in red.”

Furious Nostalgia

“When my dad was in boot camp with the Marines, my uncle took pictures of my dad’s new 1964 Plymouth Fury and sent them to him. Well, those pictures have resurfaced and I’ve taken the image from one of those photos and turned it into a great shirt design! Going to get it printed to give to my dad for Christmas this year… hope y’all enjoy it as much as I know my dad will! ”

Thrillin Heroics

“Let’s face it. We know that Jayne Cobb would have his own biker gang. Hopefully, he’d grab this up as his gang’s logo for their jackets! If any of this needs further explanation, please go to Netflix – STAT – and watch TV show Firefly followed by movie Serenity.

Recognizable features include Jayne’s “Thrillin’ heroics” hat from episode 2 of Firefly, “The Train Job” (but also in “Jaynestown” and other episodes), Jayne smoking a cigar, the flying mule from the movie “Serenity”, the quote “Thrillin’ Heroics” as well as the place, “The Outer Rim”.”
